Here are the most common and impactful specific regenerative farming practices, with a focus on how they work and their benefits—especially relevant for grass-fed beef producers like Buck Creek Meats or Circle M Meats:1. Adaptive Multi-Paddock (AMP) or Intensive Rotational Grazing
  • Livestock are moved frequently (often daily or every few days) through small paddocks at high stock density, then the land rests for weeks to months.
  • Mimics natural wild herd movement: animals graze, trample, and fertilize with manure, while allowing deep root regrowth.
  • Benefits: Builds soil organic matter, improves water infiltration, increases plant diversity, sequesters carbon, prevents overgrazing, and enhances forage quality for healthier animals.
